  • Monday, June 2, 2014

Blue Planet Green Events, along with their partners, will host a unique music-meets-art fundraising event to benefit the American Lung Association in their mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

This second annual event, titled “Rhythm on Canvas,” will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, at the Cooper River Room in Mount Pleasant Memorial Park. The event will feature music by Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans. Artists from the Charleston area will create original art on Adirondack chairs, benches and canvases that will be up for grabs in the silent auction amongst other great items.

Mosaic Café and Catering will prepare delicious bites; Dulce will serve up her unique sweet treats, while Bar Belles will satisfy any beer and wine needs. All proceeds for the event will benefit the American Lung Association in South Carolina.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets are available online at www.rhythmoncanvas.org
