Game times are set for the NCAA Super Regional between College of Charleston and Texas Tech.
The Cougars and Red Raiders open their best-of-three series 1 p.m. Saturday at Rip Griffin Park in Lubbock, Texas. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
Game two is slated for 3 p.m. Sunday on ESPNU and game three, if necessary, will start at 1 p.m. Monday on ESPN2. All of the games will be broadcast locally on ESPN 910 AM.
The winner of the super regional series advances to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Neither team has ever played in the College World Series.
Both teams entered last week unranked in the Collegiate Baseball polls. Texas Tech now sits at No. 10, while College of Charleston moves up to No. 16.
The Cougars (44-17) are playing in the super regionals for the second time in program history. They defeated No. 2 overall seeded Florida, and Long Beach State twice to win the Gainesville Regional.
The Red Raiders (43-19) are in the super regionals for the first time after defeating Columbia and Miami twice for the Coral Gables Regional title.
College of Charleston is just the fourth No. 4 seed to ever advance to a super regional. The last two, Fresno State in 2008 and Stony Brook in 2012, both advanced to the College World Series.
