This year, Mount Pleasant Barnes and Noble is celebrating its 15th year of business, serving the community. It's been 15 prosperous years and they couldn't have had such an impact on so many lives without the community's help.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Barnes and Noble are hosting many fun-filled events for customers and the community.
On Saturday, June 7 at 2 p.m. the kick-off celebration begins with Dorothea Benton Frank signing her 15th book, “Hurricane Sisters.” The store has partnered with My Sister's House for the event to raise awareness of domestic abuse in South Carolina.
Sunday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m., Nicole Quigley will be signing her debut novel, “Like Moonlight at Low Tide.”
Tuesday, June 10 at 6:00 p.m., Linda Bender will be signing “Animal Wisdom: Learning from the Spiritual Lives of Animals.”
More events will continue throughout the year.
