A new church in Summerville will initiate weekly Sunday morning worship services beginning June 22 at 10:30 a.m. The service will include dynamic praise and worship, verse-by-verse Biblical teaching and age-appropriate curriculum for children.
Calvary of Summerville is planning its inaugural service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 22 at Kelly’s Dance, located at 110 C South Cedar St., in downtown Summerville. Vic Carroll will serve as the congregation’s senior pastor. Carroll has decades of ministry experience, and most recently served as worship pastor at Calvary Chapel Green Valley in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his family relocated to Summerville, South Carolina earlier this spring.
“I am both honored and humbled that God has chosen me to pastor this church,” Carroll shared. “We are excited to be here and look forward to serving the people of Summerville for many years to come.”
Calvary of Charleston, located in North Charleston and pastored by Richard Perea, is assisting with the establishment of the new church. The Calvary Chapel Association includes 1,500 fellowships in the United States and around the world.
