Berkeley Library to host Art Fest

Need a chance to express your creative side? Ever wanted to learn how to make stained glass, sweetgrass baskets or shade-tree bowls? Want to know how a 3D printer works? Here's your chance.

The Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) is excited to announce that it will be hosting the first annual free We Heart Art Fest at the Sangaree Library (595 Sangaree Parkway in Summerville) on Saturday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly community event will include artist demonstrations, a showcase of rare books, art competitions, free art activities, live music and food. The art competitions are for ages ranging from fifth grade to adult. If you would like to participate, please visit the BCLS website, www.bcls.sc.gov, or contact the Sangaree Branch at 843-695-1208.
