Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series continues

The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series continues at James Island County Park. Join the festivities for some good vibes at the series' next concert on Friday, June 27. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and music by ReggaeInfinity begins at 8:30 p.m.

ReggaeInfinity specializes in original roots reggae with a positive message as well as occasional cover songs. The band has shared the stage with many international acts. Based out of Columbia, South Carolina, band members from ReggaeInfinity also have roots in the Caribbean Islands and throughout the U.S. ReggaeInfinity's music is suitable for all ages and promises to get everyone up and dancing.

For the perfect cool ending to a hot summer week, bring your chair or blanket, kick back, and relax to an awesome outdoor reggae concert in the beautiful setting of James Island County Park. All ages are invited. Hungry concert-goers can purchase Caribbean-style dishes and festival foods on site at the event. Crafters and other vendors will be on site displaying local handmade crafts and souvenirs available for purchase.

Additional reggae concerts will take place on Fridays throughout the summer at James Island County Park. The remaining 2014 Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series lineup is: June 27, ReggaeInfinity; July 11, Da'Gullah Rootz; August 1, Mystic Vibrations.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Tickets are $8 for adults (13 and up); children 12 and under are free. Current Gold Pass holders are also admitted free. Gold Passes will not be sold on site, but may be purchased in advance at www.goldpassmember.com for $65 ($80 for non-Charleston County residents). Gold Passes allow park admission to a variety of county parks and events for the family for a full year.

No outside alcohol or coolers are permitted into the event. James Island County Park is located at 871 Riverland Drive.
