The newly renovated Comfort Suites at the Isle of Palms Connector in Mount Pleasant is inviting new and old guests to rediscover their property as its transformation comes to an end. Since April 20, the hotel has been completely closed down for renovations an unprecedented and daring move for a hotel, especially in this market and for this time of the year.
We knew that changes needed to be made and that they needed to be made quickly, says Justin Hatfield, general manager of the property. We look at and discuss every piece of guest feedback we receive on a daily basis, and looking at this feedback, we found that we were facing challenges that quite simply could not be overcome without a total renovation.
The 14-year-old hotel, owned by Littlefield Enterprises and managed by Griffin Stafford Hospitality, has been completely restored and refreshed from the ground up. Every aspect of the hotel, from the carpeting and the wall coverings, to the outdoor pool and the in-room furnishings, has been replaced and improved upon, using the feedback and suggestions that they had received from their guests as a guide.
