The Be Brave Brunch will take place on Aug. 1. PROVIDED

Who is the bravest person you know? The Center for Women (C4W) will host their annual “Be Brave” celebration, in honor of Women's Equality Month, on Friday, Aug. 1. The “Be Brave Brunch” will take place at Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park, Cooper River Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“The Center for Women has encountered bravery in so many people we have met or been involved with through our programming and community partnerships. This event is to recognize those who stand out among the crowd, as well as inspire others,” states Amy Brennan, executive director of the Center for Women.

Tickets start at $35 and include a catered brunch by Three Little Birds Café and Bloody Mary station by Tito's Vodka and Fat and Juicy Mix.

For parents, the organizers are pleased to also include childcare provided by Teacups and Trucks, a full-service themed party planning business. Visit www.c4women.org for more details.
