If a fresh take on Old World flavors is what youíre after, check out Daniel Islandís newest Italian eatery, Ristorante LIDI.
Located just 10 minutes from the heart of Mount Pleasant at 901 Island Park Drive, Ristorante LIDI promises ďauthentic, affordable, family dining.Ē
Highlights of the menu include the classic spaghetti and meatballs and ravioli, but for those who arenít fans of red sauce, there is always the orecchiette with broccoli raab. The summer menu will feature a delectable saltimbocca, available in both veal and chicken.
Chef Jason Colon offers a delicious antiposto plate for two and apps sized for sharing, such as stuffed mushrooms filled with housemade sweet Italian sausage, finished with fontina cheese and Italian herb breadcrumbs. Colon also ensures the quality and authenticity of the restaurantís baked goods by having fresh baked bread imported from New York every day.
