This summer, from June 29 to July 5, Camp Happy Days will host its annual six-day camp program providing unforgettable experiences to more than 200 children battling cancer. Each year, the camp is held at Camp Bob Cooper in Summerton, South Carolina. More than 170 qualified counselors, including medical staff, will lead the campers through various activities such as rope courses, climbing walls, fishing, boating, horseback riding and so much more. For one week, these children have the opportunity to escape the worries of cancer and treatments to enjoy a thrilling and educational excursion. This year’s camp is called “Mission: Possible,” where campers will spend the week being secret agents exploring the continents.
Camp Happy Days offers hope and encouragement to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. The main goal is to give these children life-changing experiences that offer hope, courage and the will to fight. This week-long program, along with 10 other programs and services, are provided by Camp Happy Days at no cost to the families.
