On Sunday, June 22, at a local swim meet, the Mount Pleasant Swim Club (MPSC) had a celebration to honor part-time coach Evan Dicks.

Coach Evan just received word of his deployment from the Air Force. The team wanted to show the coach their support and surprised him with a cake donated by the Harris Teeter at Rivertowne. All swimmers and parents paused during a two-day meet to thank Evan for his service and share the cake.

MPSC is proud to have such a brave, selfless coach on staff. They wish Evan well and will be waiting for his safe return. The entire MPSC family will be happy to have him back on deck when he returns.
