Police Blotter – Burning down the house

Police were called to a woman’s home because she believes she is being stalked by her neighbor and she wanted to file possible burglary charges.

According to a police report, the woman said this neighbor has already been placed on trespass notice and showed the officer a hole that was ripped into the wall of her garage that revealed a crawl space to the outside along with exposed wires.

She said someone had been tampering with her wiring and her phone was tapped. She told officers that the walls in her kitchen and her stove had been painted with a flammable brown substance. She believes the suspect is planning on burning down her house, the report said.

According to the police report, the woman also told the officer she has spent thousands of dollars on electrical repairs alone.

She said work is now being done on the residence to install new insulation.

She said the suspect has harassed her online and written on her walls, none of which the officer could observe, according to the report.

The officer took photos of everything to be used as possible evidence. And according to the report, the victim pointed out the in her home spot where she said she pulled away the wood herself because “it gave” when she leaned against it.
