Police Blotter – Cook my dinner

  • Thursday, July 3, 2014

One too many drinks led to an argument between a mother and a son, according to a police report.

The victim told police her son had been verbally abusing her.

According to the report, she also told police that she was in fear for her life and this has been an ongoing problem.

She said that on this particular day her son was upset with her for not having his dinner ready when he wanted it.

However, according to the report, the son explained to police that his mom had been drinking heavily that evening and she was still upset about her other son dying more than a year ago. According to the police report, the son admitted to drinking as well.

The report said the mother changed her story several times and showed police officers holes in her walls. Then she admitted the holes were from previous incidents.

The police report said that the son had orange residue on his hands from eating potato chips and the mother had an orange imprint on her white shirt that showed evidence of being pushed.

The son was detained and put in the police car, but then the mom said she did not want to press charges; she just wanted her son to leave for the night, the report said.

The son was then taken to his cousin's to stay for the night. The son said he was moving out August 1 anyway, and the case was closed.
