Mosaic Cafe donates portion of profits

  • Saturday, July 5, 2014

WINGS for kids – a local nonprofit that focuses on social and emotional learning (SEL) and teaches kids how to behave well, make good decisions and build healthy relationships – will receive 13 percent of all food sales at Mosaic Café on Wednesday, July 2 from 5-9 p.m. when customers mention WINGS. WINGS will also be on site providing patrons with information about the local program. There will also be an opportunity on each receipt to make a special donation.

“Mosaic Café has a wonderful Community Give Back program, and we are so touched to be a recipient,” said Eleanor Smythe, South Carolina executive director of WINGS for kids. “Everything we do is tied to our community; the kids we work with truly benefit from the generosity of a company like Mosaic.”

“We pride ourselves on caring and giving back to others,” said Amy Natill, assistant general manager at Mosaic Café. “We never want to be thought of as just a restaurant, but rather a restaurant that helps others and makes a difference in the community.”
