VA opens Charleston Vet Center

The Charleston Vet Center will open its doors Wednesday, July 9 at 11 a.m. in its new location to provide readjustment counseling and services to veterans returning home from combat, veterans of other eras, and their family members as they transition to civilian life and learn to cope successfully with the hidden wounds of war. The VA's mental-health program offers the nation's best evidence-based readjustment and PTSD counseling services to lead veterans to the full, productive lives and family relationships they so richly deserve.

The Charleston Vet Center is located at 3625 West Montague Ave. in North Charleston.
