Imagine the shock of a couple who heard a commotion at their front door only to find an intoxicated teenager demanding to be let inside.
Turns out he was at the wrong house.
According to a report, a couple called police who arrived to find a kid standing on the front porch. The report said the kid reeked of alcohol. When the officer asked him what he was doing on the porch, he said he was waiting to speak with officers.
According to the report, the kid said his friend dropped him off at this house because the friend had to go home. When asked where he lived, he said just up the road. But the address he gave police was in an entirely different neighborhood.
During this little chat, the kid became verbally abusive towards officers and began cussing and screaming, the report said. The homeowners told officers they wanted the kid off of their property.
The kid was detained for public intoxication. According to the report, he refused to give officers his parents’ phone numbers so they could be contacted.
At one point while in the back seat of the cop car, the report said, he began banging his head on the window and kicking things inside the car. He was then placed on the ground and began to squirm violently and hit his own head on the pavement, the report said.
Police finally reached the kid’s parents, and when mom got there, the kid began to yell and cuss at her.
She asked that her son be taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
He was charged with public intoxication and put on trespass notice from the home.
