  • Thursday, July 10, 2014

Police were called to a local schoolyard for a noise complaint, and when they arrived, they found a large group gathered in a circle appearing to be getting ready for a fight. According to the report, as soon as the subjects saw authorities, they jumped in their cars in an attempt to take off.

Police were able to block their cars from leaving, the report said.

They were all told to exit their cars and sit on the ground. All of them were under 21 except one person.

One of the subjects admitted to police that they were there for a fight but would not give any other information, the report said.

According to the report, this same person had alcohol in plain view in his car and was charged with underage drinking after admitting it was all his.

Another car had a suspicious-looking safe in the backseat, and when officers searched it, they found a scale, $100, a bag of pot, baggies, cigarette paper a bong and a pocket knife, the report said.

He was then arrested for possession with intent to distribute.

All the other kids were released to their parents.
