The Cooper River Bridge Run (CRBR) has incorporated a “People's Choice” voting portion for the second consecutive year; with more than 60 designs to choose from, the community may cast votes on their favorite designs
Julian Smith, executive director of the CRBR, announced that the run is hosting a People's Choice voting process where people in the community may cast their vote to help determine the official design for the 2015 Cooper River Bridge Run, set for Saturday, March 28, 2015. There are 64-66 designs that are eligible for the 2015 CRBR artwork.
Voting begins Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 8 a.m. and will end Tuesday, July 15, at 8 p.m.
The winning People's Choice design will be one of the top-five designs to be considered as the official 2015 CRBR artwork.
See the designs at www.bridgerun.com/blog/?p=2274 and visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/59SPMGG to cast your vote.
The other top-four designs and the overall winner will be determined at a private judging held by CRBR board members, local dignitaries, community designers and past CRBR design contest winners.
The 2015 Cooper River Bridge Run design will be unveiled in August. The winning design will be featured on 2015 CRBR T-shirts, posters and all distributed promotional and informational materials for the race. The winner will receive $1,000, 100 posters, 24 T-shirts and his/her mark on this nationally acclaimed 10K. All other design entries will be auctioned off to benefit the CRBR's 15 benefiting charities.
This is the second consecutive year that the CRBR has incorporated a People's Choice voting process to determine the race design.
