Police Blotter – I got over it

  • Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Police are often called to mediate between individuals who can work things out on their own but donít realize it at the time.

Like recently, when officers were called to a manís place of employment because his roommate was allegedly threatening him and said he was going to beat him up.

The victim told police it was all over comments made on social media. The victim also explained that he had been suspended from work because the suspect (his roommate) came to his place of employment and made threat and a scene as well, the report said.

The victim said not only are they roommates, but the suspect drives him to work everyday.

When police spoke with the suspect, he explained that he had been angry and upset at the time, but he eventually got over it. He pointed out that he was there (the victimís place of employment) to pick him up and carry him home. He said he would not act on any threats that he made, according to the report.

They were allowed to leave with no charges filed.
