Centura College offers free health screenings for community

Centura College is opening its doors on Saturday, July 19 to offer free health screenings to the community at its campus located in North Charleston. The event is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. until noon.

Centura College Medical Assisting students will be joined by their instructors and other professionals in the area to offer several free services throughout the morning. People can have blood pressure checks, diabetes screening and overall checkups. There will also be a local fitness instructor on-site offering advice and simple exercises to help improve one’s overall health.

This event is open to the public. The campus is located at 8084 Rivers Avenue in North Charleston, next to the InTown Suites. For more information, call Centura College at (843) 569-0889.
