Abiding Word Family Ministries to host flapjack fundraiser Saturday

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to partner with the members from Abiding Word Family Ministries, to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, July 26. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Church's building fund in an effort to expand its community youth program.

“Our Charleston team is excited to meet and partner with the youth members from Abiding Word Family Ministries on July 26,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “We encourage those in the community to join us at our restaurant on Ashley Phosphate Road to support this local church in their fundraising efforts.”

The Abiding Word Family fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee's restaurant located at 4910 Ashley Phosphate Road, Charleston, SC, starting at 8 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Rolandra Marshall at (843) 991-8612. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage and beverages.

Applebee's is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee's employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee's Flapjack Fundraisers represent one of the company's efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
