  • Friday, July 18, 2014

The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry (CML) is excited to announce four new birthday party themes, offering more choices for play and fun. Children of all ages are welcome to join CML to make their birthday party unforgettable and celebrate their day with family and friends.

CML provides a magical and unique location for Lowcountry children's birthday celebrations. CML's new themes are:

Dinosaur Romp – For a Jurassic good time, this is the party for you. Your little dinosaurs will enjoy wearing their dinosaur masks as they search for fellow dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptors, Stegosaurus and even make their very own dinosaurs to take home. This party promises to be a roaring good time and we'll send them home with dinosaur goodies which will never go extinct.

Superhero Smash – CML needs your little heroes and heroines to help save the museum. Your child and guests will decorate their superhero masks to get in character as they search high and low for their superhero friends and defeat the villains with a fun and exciting web-slinging activity. Once the museum is safe, staff will send everyone home with goodies so they can continue fighting crime at home.

Wild Wild West – It's the Wild West at CML and its the place to bring your cowboys, cowgirls and sheriffs. Once everyone has their bandannas on and are ready to ride, it's time to grab the posse round up a few outlaws before sitting down to make your own handmade Wild West necklaces. Before they hit the dusty trail, kids will receive a bag of goodies to thank them for cleaning up the town.

Firefighters to the Rescue – This party's on fire. Your firefighter will have a blazing good time as everyone puts on fireman hats and search through the museum to put out fires and spend some time on an actual 1950s fire truck. Once kids have doused the flames, CML's bravest will be sent home with a fun bag of goodies that any firefighter would enjoy.

CML will be offering these new birthday party themes in addition to the party themes already in place: Pirate Party, Bake-alicious Birthday Bash, Groovy Garden Gathering and Noble Knights and Precious Princesses.

Birthday parties include playtime in the museum, a private decorated party room for 1.5 hours, all day admission to CML, tableware, balloons and a birthday parade. Themed parties include themed crafts, games and favors.
