Police Blotter – Road rage

  • Wednesday, July 23, 2014

A couple called police after a black, “jacked up” truck pulled out in front of them on Highway 41. The female driver told the officer she tried to go around the truck, but the truck’s driver tried to run her off the road and would not allow her to get back into the right lane.

According to this woman, two other trucks pulled up behind her and in front of her, blocking the original offender, so she could not see his Georgia license plate.

The driver said these additional trucks also tried to run her off the road. The victims tried to get the drivers of those trucks to pull over, but they allegedly just made obscene hand gestures towards the couple.

The couple then turned onto Longpoint Road, and when they stopped at the light, one of the truck drivers allegedly jumped out and said, “If you want some of this, get out of the car and get some of this.”

Police patrolled the area looking for the suspects with no luck.
