The Musical Theater Center Company (MTCC) is proud to present, Disney's “High School Musical Jr.” at the Woolfe Street Playhouse in Charleston.

This energetic musical production arranged by Musical Theater International (MTI) is the culmination of a two-week intensive “Broadway Bound” summer camp through the Musical Theater Center Company. Tickets are available now for four performances at the Woolfe Street Playhouse: Saturday, July 26 with shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 27 with shows at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets to all shows are $15. These tickets can be purchased by liking Musical Theater Center on Facebook, going to www.once-upon-a-ballet.com or at the door.

In Disney's “High School Musical Jr.” we meet Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High and watch them deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. This show is filled with infectious, danceable songs like “We're All in This Together,” “Get'cha Head in the Game,” and “Bop to the Top.” “High School Musical Jr.” is fun for the whole family and not to be missed.

The cast is comprised of talented kids from the ages of 10-15 who have spent an intense and amazing two weeks learning songs and creative choreography for this performance. The lead roles are played by members of the Musical Theater Center's senior performance troupe, with an ensemble cast of dedicated, hard-working kids, some of who perform regularly, while others are new to the stage. Talent runs deep with this group, who regularly shine at delivering polished, professional-level productions that will delight audiences of all ages.
