Homegrown Family Day Aug. 9

Chucktown Music Group will showcase some of the amazing local talent that the Lowcountry has to offer with Homegrown Family Day with Hootie and the Blowfish, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at Family Circle Tennis Center, located at 161 Seven Farms Drive on Daniel Island, and admission is free.

The event will feature fun for the whole family and live music throughout the day. Performers include Chris Holly, McKenna Andrews, Susto, Kylie Odetta, Wayne Graham and local favorite, Elise Testone. Plenty of delicious food and drinks will be available from vendors. Climbing walls, jump castles and other great attractions will also be on site.

Organizers will also be giving away five pairs of tickets to that evening’s sold out concert featuring Drivin’ and Cryin’, Edwin McCain, and Hootie and The Blowfish. Giveaways start promptly at 10:30 a.m., and you must be present to win.
