Police Blotter – I want her out

  • Wednesday, July 30, 2014

Police were dispatched to a home where someone called 911 and then hung up. Per policy, police have to respond, so they traced the address. When they arrived at the residence, according to the report, they were met by a man in the yard who said, “Thank you for showing up. I want her out.” His daughter then came out of the house crying, the report said.

According to the report, the two were separated and questioned. The daughter told police her dad had been yelling and cussing at her to get out of the house, so she started moving some of her belongings to her car. She said her father broke her tv.

The father’s side of the story was that his daughter had stayed out all night, and according to the report, he had a firm rule in his house that if she was not going to come home then he needs to know about it.

He was upset because she did not follow this rule, the report said.

The officer asked the daughter where she stayed the previous night, and she said she stayed in a hotel because she as tired of her dad yelling at her.

The officer asked her if she had any friends in the area with whom she could stay and she said no.

The officer then asked her if she could go stay at a hotel again and she decided she could do that.

The officer explained to the father that he had to have her legally evicted if he wanted her to leave permanently, and he said he understood but was moving to Florida the next day anyway.
