Lowcountry Local First is hosting the second annual GOODBusiness Summit on Aug. 21 at Charleston Museum with speakers and panel discussions exploring how successful entrepreneurs do well in business while creating a positive community impact. Attendees will learn how to implement innovative ideas and models for success while engaging with guests, panelists and sponsors during the lunch and happy-hour networking events.
The speakers and panelists at the summit are successful independent-business owners, entrepreneurs and community advocates from across the Lowcountry and surrounding areas. Among the 30 speakers: Adam Fetsch of Rewined Candles, Carrie Morey of Callie's Charleston Biscuits, Christine Osborne of Wonder Works, Dave Dawson of The Urban Electric Company, David Thompson of David Thompson Architect, Eric Henry of TS Designs and Burlington Beer Works Co-Op, Jacob Lindsey of the Charleston Civic Design Center, Jon Yarian of SeaChange, Karalee Nielsen Fallert of The Park Café and Lee Lee's Hot Kitchen, Lee Deas Brown of Obviouslee Marketing, Mike Lata of FIG and The Ordinary, Nikki Seibert of Lowcountry Local First, Robert Prioleau of Blue Ion, Scott Blackwell of High Wire Distilling Company, and Stephen Zoukis of Raven Cliff Company.
The conference will begin with breakfast and registration, and continues through cocktail hour. The ticket price includes breakfast by Caviar and Bananas and Coastal Coffee Roasters, lunch provided by Verde, and a networking happy hour provided by Michael's On the Alley and The Victor Social Club.
The GOODBusiness Summit is open to the public. Beginning Aug. 1, tickets are $140 and $180, Lowcountry Local First members and non-members respectively. Student admission is $50 (with a valid ID).
