Fundraiser Garage Sale

Who: Music for Tanzania

When: Saturday, Aug. 16, 7 a.m. to noon

Where: 1942 Ivy Hall Road, West Ashley

Details: Donations of gently used merchandise will be accepted the week of Aug. 11 and donations of helping hands are greatly appreciated. Music For Tanzania is a registered nonprofit set up to help music students in Tanzania. All monies from the fundraiser will be used to benefit the students.

Inaugural Legislative Reception

Who: East Cooper Republican Club

When: Thursday, Sept. 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Where: Charleston Harbor Fish House located at 32 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant

Details: This is a great opportunity for Mount Pleasant and other local residents and business executives to meet personally with local, county, state and federal elected officials. Individual tickets are $35.

R.B. Stall High School Reunion

When: Saturday, Sept. 27, 6:30 p.m.

When: Charleston Rifle Club, 2221 Heriot St., Charleston

Details: Students who were in the classes from 1965 to 1985 are invited to a multi-class reunion. There will be a great music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, cash bar and door prizes.

Those who plan to be in Charleston on Friday, Sept. 26, are invited to an informal get-together. Details will be provided after reservations for the reunion on Saturday are made.

Make a reservation of $30 per person by going to the reunion website, www.stall2014reunion.homestead.com, or by mailing a check (payable to Stall 2014 Reunion) to Stall 2014 Reunion, 8039 Nantuckett Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29420. If mailing a check for a reservation, please include contact information so that a receipt may be sent to the proper individual.

Stepbrothers Comedy Show
