McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture Completes New Animal Shelter for Aiken County

Aiken, SC – McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is pleased to announce the completion of the Aiken County Animal Shelter, a new 11,000 SF facility to house County animal and public adoption services for a base capacity of 150 animals. This is the firm's sixth project in South Carolina that supports community needs specific to animals.

Functional spaces in the facility include office, meeting and dispatch areas for County officers and employees, along with clinical and surgery suites and grooming spaces. The attractive yet cost-effective facility encourages adoption and education specific to animal welfare.

McMillan Pazdan Smith provides planning and design services to numerous municipal, county and community clients throughout the Southeast. Office locations include Charleston, Greenville, Spartanburg, Atlanta and Asheville.
