The Moultrie News recently launched a new public event calendar system through SpinGo. We're really excited about all that this new system has to offer since it provides a wide range of coverage for each person or organization entering an event.
We request people enter events themselves because SpinGo can then contact you directly with questions, issues, errors, etc. Another great feature of this system is that you will also be able to edit events that you have entered.
To access the new calendar, visit www.moultrienews.com/events. Once there, you'll be looking for the black box that reads “Add an Event.” It's about 1/4 of the way down the page and 1/3 of the way across (left to right). After selecting that box, you'll be redirected to a page where you'll enter the location of the event. The system will search for the location (to see if it has been used before) and if not, you'll add the location. Once the location is set and you've entered the event name, you'll need to click “Add my Event.”
Once you've added your event's name and location, you'll be redirected to another page where you can enter all of the event details. When you're finished, you'll press submit and SpinGo will send you an email saying they've received the event information. SpinGo will then process the event and email you once it's been approved.
