Police Blotter - Hit and run

Police were called to the scene of a hit and run. The victim said a truck driver put his truck in reverse at an intersection and backed into him. He said the driver then took off, driving very erratically. He said he called the cops, and followed the suspect but eventually lost him.

Fortunately he was able to give officers a description of the truck and the driver. He told officers to was obvious the man was trying to evade him.

The truck belonged to a local company so officers called and described the truck. Officials there then called their driver and demand that he return the truck to the office. He did and told officers her had a suspended license, according to the report. He was then arrested and charged with driver under suspension and leaving the scene of an accident.
