East Cooper Medical Center has announced Terri Harris as its new chief nursing officer. Harris will provide leadership for the nursing and professional teams to insure consistent, high-quality care delivery for the 130-bed acute-care hospital.
Previously, Harris served as director of cardiovascular services at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Prior to that, Terri served in a similar capacity for Singing River Health System, a two-hospital health care organization on the Gulf Coast. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and her master's degree in public health from the University of Southern Mississippi.
“Terri is a proven leader and we are pleased to have her join East Cooper Medical Center as our new chief nursing officer. Her 25 years of experience in nursing services and clinical operations will be integral in providing high-quality care to each of our patients,” said Jason Alexander, CEO of East Cooper Medical Center.
