Bishop England, Wando missing from prep football rankings

The first S.C. Prep Football Media Poll of the 2014 season was released Tuesday, and neither Wando nor Bishop England made the early rankings.

The Bishops, winners of nine games in 2013 and 20 straight in Region VI, did receive votes in Class AA.

Bishop England is scheduled to visit Class AAA No. 9 Hanahan Sept. 5 and host Class AA No. 4 Timberland Sept. 9.

Wando closes an early season three-game road trip at AAAA No. 7 Summerville Sept. 19. The Warriors also host AAAA No. 10 Goose Creek Oct. 24. Week-nine opponent Stratford received votes in AAAA and will visit Mount Pleasant Oct. 17.
