Police Blotter - Family cuss out

  • Thursday, August 21, 2014

Police were called in reference to a family disturbance. When they got to the scene the suspect and the victim had already left but their niece was there. She explained that her uncle came to appraise the house to determine the value of it. She said her uncle does not live there and when he heard they hired someone to look at the house, he raced over there.

The actual appraiser was there, just doing his job, when the uncle told him to leave. She said that he and another uncle got into a cussing match, and then the cussing was directed at her. One of her uncles said that if her daddy messed this up for him he would shoot him, according to her statement.

Eventually everyone left, leaving her there with a family house that needed to be appraised and sold. The officer told her to simply call police should her uncle return.
