The Charleston Music Hall and Vince Fabra cordially invite you to attend “Marriage: A Comedy Show” on the 29th day of August at the hour of 9:30 p.m. The show gets its name because the very next day, comedian Vince Fabra will be saying “I do,” marrying his lovely fiancée, Lindsay. “My goal for ‘Marriage: A Comedy Show’ is to entertain our wedding guests and strangers alike, while not saying anything to ruin the wedding weekend,” says Vince.
Vince is not alone in the joke-telling that evening. He has called upon some of his (and your) favorite Charleston comedy alumni. Dusty Slay, a staple in Charleston comedy, will be returning from his new home in Nashville. The show will also be a homecoming for comedian Danny Green, who recently moved to Los Angeles, and Sam Jackel, who left Charleston for New York a year ago. “This is a very special lineup. These guys are some of the funniest people I know, but really, they are my best friends in comedy. And on a weekend full of time spent with loved ones, it only makes sense to get the gang back together for a show,” adds Vince.
“Marriage: A Comedy Show” is planted right in the middle of the couple’s wedding weekend. You are not invited to the ceremony or reception. However, you are cordially invited to the show on Friday, Aug. 29 at 9:30 p.m. Please RSVP at www.charlestonmusichall.com. Tickets are $10 and doors open at 8 p.m.
