Charleston County adding staff for upcoming election

The Charleston County Board of Elections and Voter Registration (BEVR) is accepting applications to hire full-time, temporary staff, to assist with the preparation of the Nov. 4 General Election.

Duties include, but are not limited to, alphabetizing and filing applications, data entry, customer service and providing technical assistance. Training is provided and the starting salary is $9.50 per hour for a 40-hour work week. Overtime may be required.

Applicants must be a high school graduate or have a GED with college background and have the ability to pass on-site typing and filing tests (computer skills preferred).
