Hammett's Landing opens on Daniel Island
Tuesday, June 08, 2010

After several cross country moves for business, Bo and Tamra Hammett, owners of Hammett's Landing are finally pursuing their dream of opening a family restaurant back in the South. Bo and Tamra met in the restaurant business in 2001, and are happily married with three children, Haley, Cooper and Van.

Bo has been in the business for over 20 years. He has spent his career managing and operating restaurants from an Aspen themed brewery, to an upscale Asian Fusion concept, and one of Boston's most acclaimed seafood restaurants. He is fulfilling his dream of owning and operating his own restaurant with a focus on excellent service and hospitality while serving amazing food.

Tamra is a Registered Dietitian. She believes that there is a place in your diet for everything, in the right balance of course. Hammett's Landing will accommodate any special request.

A Dietitian's Special will be offered daily for patrons interested in light and flavorful meals.

Other members of the team include Bo and Tamra's brothers, Ed and Patrick. Ed has experience in the restaurant business managing concepts such as an upscale steakhouse to a family style Italian restaurant. He is moving from Huntington Beach, California to operate Hammett's Landing. Patrick is an aspiring cook.
