Human relations expert Pat Eardley to hold seminar Aug. 25
Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Do you ever consider how much the ways in which you manage your human resource processes can impact your business? When it comes to having a business in the Charleston region, it's not just about making money and getting noticed - it's about effectively managing your people. How well you do this and what policies you have in place to handle the ups and downs of human resources can determine the ultimate success of your business and can help you avoid costly mistakes.

Pat Eardley, HR Advisor with over 16 years of experience as a human resources professional, recruiter, trainer and executive, has been helping small business owners navigate the often confusing waters of human resources management. She plans to develop a center of learning for individuals and companies that is inspiring and creates a foundation for success in the Charleston area. Currently, Ms. Eardley is providing e-Verify Classes to assist employers with getting trained and certified on the Homeland Security required employment verification system. On Aug. 25, Pat Eardley will be holding a special free informational telephone seminar regarding this process.

Call (843) 609-8280 for more information.

Miss Eardley has a diverse background in the hospitality, retail, telecommunications and manufacturing environments and has worked with small to large organizations, giving her a well-rounded approach to supporting the people aspects of doing business.

Pat Eardley has been working alongside many of Charleston's top firms, including several major hospitality groups in the Southeastern United States. She has a unique gift for informing entrepreneurs and small business owners about how to make smart decisions when it comes to hiring, training and developing employees. She does this wholeheartedly so that businesses can meet their goals efficiently and without any of the costly problems that can arise from not having this expert guidance. Ms. Eardley works with companies to seamlessly integrate her services into existing systems rather than try to take over human resources processes. She understands and respects the small business owner, but also understands that human resources administration is sometimes pushed aside until there is a crisis.

"When I first started working as an independent advisor for local companies, I realized quickly that oftentimes companies cannot afford to have a full time Human Resources professional on board," Eardley said, "so I wanted to utilize my experience for the benefit of small businesses to support their objectives in an affordable manner." Ms. Eardley also stated that "companies don't need to wait for an emergency to call her", as she offers flexible on-demand human resources support that meets the needs of companies big and small. From managing hiring processes and electronic employment verification requirements, to employee training, development and benefits administration, Pat Eardley will be a valuable resource to your company.

In the future, Pat Eardley hopes to continue to be able to support the local economy further by teaching others to be strong leaders through human resources education. If you would like to attend the seminar, or if you have human resources questions or need personnel support for your business, you are welcome to reach Pat Eardley at (843)609-8280 or visit her at her website www.pateardley.com
