Scout Boats, Inc. Signs New Dealer
Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Scout Boats, Inc. and Hall Marine Group have inked a major deal that will make Sea Ray – Scout of Charleston the local dealer servicing the Charleston, South Carolina/tri-county area.

Sea Ray – Scout of Charleston (one of Sea Ray's Top 5 dealers worldwide) will be moving its operation into the Daniel Island-based Sportsman's Island location and will become the anchor tenant.

Sea Ray – Scout of Charleston will represent Scout Boats at the upcoming 30th annual Charleston Boat Show being held Jan. 22-24 at the Charleston Area Convention Center.

'As we enter this new year, we're excited about our new partnership with Sea Ray – Scout of Charleston and what it will mean for the current and future customers of Scout,' said Scout Boats CEO/Founder Steve Potts. 'An exciting new location for the dealership at Sportsman's Island and a knowledgeable sales and service staff for our local customers.'

Scout builds sportfishing, fish ‘n ski, walk around, flats and bay boat models ranging from 14' to 35'.

Since it's founding nearly two decades ago, Scout Boat's goal has been to manufacture the best-built boats in its distinctive sportfishing niches.

Each Scout hull is a true original, as the in-house research and design team works closely with engineering to take concepts from blueprint to production more efficiently, growing the company's world-class reputation for quality, strength, durability and value.
