Kelly Lee Dudley and Michael Seth Horton of Mount Pleasant were married on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at The Citadel Summerall Chapel in Charleston, SC.Father Michael Bye performed the 6 p.m. ceremony.
A reception followed at Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Dudley of the Isle of Palms. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Prentiss L. Dudley of Sullivan's Island and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McDaniel of Mount Pleasant.
She earned a BA in Advertising from the University of South Carolina and a Masters of Business Administration from The Citadel. She is employed by BoomTown, LLC, a software development company.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edgeworth Horton, Jr. of Wadesboro, N.C.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Robert Edgeworth Horton of Raleigh, N.C. and the late Mr. Horton and Mrs. Frederick Eli Finger II of Kings Mountain, N.C. and the late Mr. Finger.
He earned a BA in Communications from Clemson University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Citadel.
He is employed by First Citizens Bank.
Clancie Dudley Barley, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.
The bride's attendants were Toni Cuccia Austin, Sara Michelle Calvert, Mackall Hill Gantt, Courtney Fay Horton, and Kathryn Harper Sligh. Baker Ann Barley, the bride's niece was the flower girl. The best man was Robert Edgeworth Horton, Jr, the groom's father.
Groomsmen were Frederick Eli Finger IV, Alan Randolph Finger, and Robert Evan Horton.
Ushers were Justin Haskell Welch, John Henry Acker, II, Jason Michael Barley, Jeffrey Myles Walker, and Timothy Thomas Thacker.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's parents at Trattoria Lucca Restaurant and a bridal luncheon was given at the home of Mrs. Shirley Hane on Sullivan's Island, hosted by Mrs. Pat Brown, Mrs. Shirley Hane, and Mrs. Diana Timmerman.
The couple honeymooned in Belize and will live in Mount Pleasant.
