Mr. and Mrs. Dallas S. Deer, Jr., of Mount Pleasant, SC, celebrated

their 65th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2011, at a family gathering.

The Deers were married on June 24, 1946, at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Deer is the former Wilhelmina L. Seyle.

The

couple has one daughter: Judy Singleton and husband Dee of North

Charleston, SC; and two grandsons: Dallas S. Singleton and wife

Bridgette of Hanahan, SC and Trey S. Singleton and wife Kelli of Louisa,

VA; and four greatgrandchildren: Lauren, Kaitlyn, Cameron and Cole

Singleton.

Mr. Deer retired from Gulf Oil Corporation and the Laundry Business. Mrs. Deer is a homemaker.
