Mr. and Mrs. Herlin and Earthalee Brown Wright, of Mount Pleasant celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Nov. 29 by enjoying a quiet candle light supper at home.

They have two daughters, Terralin Wright White and Karen Gilliard White, two sons-in-law, Steven Lamont White, Sr. and Baron White Sr. and five grandsons, Justin Lamont White, Steven Lamont White Jr., Christian Sequan Lamont White, Xavier White and Baron White, Jr.

They reside in Charleston.

Herlin is the son of the late Caesar and Celestine Wright. Earthalee is the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Brown.

Herlin Wright was in the grocery business for 25 years.

He retired from Piggly Wiggly in Mount Pleasant.

Earthalee was in retail sales for 20 years and retired from Walmart in Wando Crossing after six years.

She also taught as a substitute teacher for five years in Moultrie District II.

She has been a volunteer at East Cooper Medical Center for more than 20 years as an information desk operator.

They are both members of Holy Trinity A.M.E. Church on Mathis Ferry Road in Remeley's Point.
