The bride's father walked her down the aisle and her mother, escorted down the aisle by the bride's brother, George Preston Callison, III, joined them at the altar. At the bride's side were her two sisters, Cathleen Mae Callison and Caroline Jane Callison, as Maids of Honor to their sister. Luke Hudson Lappen and Linh Duy Doan, two of the bride's closest friends, served as her Men of Honor. The bride's other love of her life, her chocolate lab Hershey Bear, also stood by her side.
At the groom's side was his brother, Timothy Mark Kubinski, as Best Man. His father, Andrew Mark Kubinski, along with close friends Brian Colwell Jensen, William Tracy Durham, and Lester Stuart Borden, Jr., stood as his Groomsmen.
The groom's sister, Melia Kubinski, his niece, Chase Kubinski, and the couple's neighbors, Lilly and Laci Conley, were flower girls. The groom's brother, Kalil Kubinski, and nephew, Tanyon Kubinski, were ring bearers.
The bride wore a custom-designed Lucinda Eden gown featuring a corseted bodice with a sheer V-shaped back that cascaded into layers of sheer white silk chiffon. The fitted silhouette was of silk charmeuse and the sheer silk skirt puddled into a flowing train accented with South African lace beading along the hem. The gown was adorned with delicately hand-created champagne silk chiffon flowers and petals embellished with seed pearls and gold threading. The bride and her close friend, Charleston-based designer Lucinda Robinson, created the original couture Lucinda Eden gown. In lieu of a veil, the bride wore a halo of twisted grapevine woven with freshwater pearls and tiny white feathers.
The bride and her sisters carried single variegated hydrangea blooms from the treasured hydrangea shrub of their late Grandmother Humphreys ("Nanny").
A reception followed the ceremony in the same enchanting spot overlooking the Charleston Harbor and as some guests played cornhole and bocci, others danced under the moon and stars.
A rehearsal dinner was held the evening before at the historic American Theater on King Street in downtown Charleston.
After a honeymoon in Paris and Deauville, France, the couple returned home to Sullivan's Island, S.C.
