Brown and Fendelman to wed next year
Mr. and Mrs. Eric H. Brown of Mount Pleasant, S.C. announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica N. Brown, to Eli C. Fendelman of New York, NY. Mr. Fendelman is the son of Earl Fendelman and Judith Cramer-Fendelman, of New York, NY.

Mr. Fendelman is the grandson of Mrs. Blossom Cramer of Rochester, NY and the late Mr. A. Robert Cramer; and the late Mr. Ben and Mrs. Tillie Fendelman.

Ms. Brown is the granddaughter of Mrs. M. Frances Shober of Frederick, MD and the late Dr. R. Wayne Shober, Sr.; and Dr. Frederick J. Brown, Jr. of Sebring, FL and the late Mrs. Jean H. Brown.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Wando High School and Johns Hopkins University (Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering). She currently works at Merck & Co. outside of Philadelphia, Pa., in the external manufacturing sector for biologic drugs.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Hunter College High School (New York, NY) and Johns Hopkins University (Art History, Classics), with election to Phi Beta Kappa.

He is currently finishing his MA in Technology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He currently teaches Latin at Saddle River Day School in Saddle River, NJ.

The couple plans to wed in 2010.
