Courtney and Bolchoz to marry May 15
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edward Courtney of Aiken, S.C., announced the engagement of their daughter Melia Ellen Courtney, of Aiken, S.C., to Ruford Joseph Bolchoz, III (Trey) of San Diego, California. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruford Joseph Bolchoz, Jr., of Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Randolph Hice; and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lloyd Courtney. She is a graduate of Aiken High School, and earned a BA in early childhood education from Clemson University. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in school counseling from Clemson.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Herbert Peele, Jr.; and Mr. and Mrs. Ruford Joseph Bolchoz.

He is a graduate of Bishop England High School, and went on to earn a BS in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, and an MS in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech. He is employed with Solar Turbines, Inc. of San Diego.

The couple well wed on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church of Aiken.
