Mr. and Mrs. Isaac E. Ortiz, of Mount Pleasant, SC announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia, to Wes Bishop of Pawleys Island, son of Mary Ann and David Bishop of Pawleys Island, SC.
Miss Ortiz is the granddaughter of Dorothy Ashley Coston and the late Glen T. Coston of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Rafaela Ortiz Gomez of Mexico City, Mexico.
The bride-to-be is a practicing applied behavior analysist currently working with children with autism in Orange County, Calif.
Mr. Bishop is the grandson of the late George and Dorothy Bishop of Myrtle Beach, SC and Eleanor McNinch and the late Dwight McNinch of Honea Path, SC.
The prospective groom graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Tex. He is currently a sports director for the Young Men's Christian Association in Orange County, Calif. The wedding is planned for February 14, 2008 in California.
