Suzanne Montague Roane of Charleston and Davis Gray Auld of Mount
Pleasant were married on Oct. 2, 2010 on Sullivan's Island at 6:30 p.m.
The reception was held at the Sand Dunes Club on Sullivan's Island.
The Rev. Christopher Huff officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Roane of Charleston.
She
is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen Montague James and the late J.
Francis James of Sumter, S.C., and Mr. Curt Allison Roane and the late
Mrs. Louise S. Roane of Franklin, N.C.
She is the Goddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S, Tovey, and Mrs. Harris (Ginny) Thaxton of Charleston and Mount Pleasant.
She
earned a BS in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science
from the College of Charleston and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from
MUSC.
She is employed by Select Physical Therapy in Decatur, Ga.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Fred G. Auld III of Mount Pleasant.
He
is the grandson of Mrs. Reavis G. Davis and the late Mr. Wayland H.
Davis of Mount Pleasant and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred G. Auld, Jr. of
Columbia.
He is the Godson of Mrs. Ruthie Warren of Conway, S.C. and Dr. Rick Ackerman of Walterboro, S.C.
He earned his BFA in Sequential Art from Savannah School of Art and Design.
Davis is enrolled at Georgia State and working on a Masters of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
He is employed by Georgia Orthotics Resources in Hiram, Ga.
Caroline Vaughn, sister of the bride, was Matron of Honor.
Bride's
attendants were Jennifer Huff, Kelly Blohme Kicklighter, Rhett Cooper,
cousin of the groom, and Misty Mohr Hinkle, cousin of the bride.
The flower girl was Emma Vaughn, niece of the bride.
Best man was Hamlin Auld, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen
were Mark Cooper and Philip Whisnant, both cousins of the groom, Clay
Pearson, Joseph Sanders, and the late John Sancken.
Ringbearer was James Vaughn, nephew of the bride.
The couple honeymooned in the Old Village, Mount Pleasant. They reside in Decatur, Ga.
