Watkins and Wewers unite in matrimony
Emmerline Rebecca Watkins and Glenn Andrew Wewers, both of Mount  Pleasant, S.C., were married on May 22, 2009 at Patriot’s Point Pavilion.  

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Paula Watkins of Batesburg -  Leesville, S.C. She was given away in marriage by her parents. The groom is the son of Adrian and Judy Wewers of Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The maid of honor was Britt Watkins, sister of the bride. The matron of honor was Vickie Watkins, sister-in-law of the bride. The best man was Adrian Wewers, father of the groom. Bridesmaids were Joanie Atkins, sister of the groom; and Kelli Baker, sister of the groom. Groomsmen were Josh Hensley, friend of the groom; Mike O’Callaghan, friend of the groom; Patrick Runey, friend of the groom; and Tod Seidel, friend of the groom.

Junior groomsmen were Drew Atkins, Dylan Atkins, and Devin Atkins, nephews of the groom. Ushers were Jerry Glenn, uncle of the groom; Jason Glenn and Rick Stavig, cousins of  the groom.

The flower girls were Kaitlyn Baker and Delanie Atkins, nieces of the  groom.  

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Johnson and Wales University. She is employed by RiverTowne Country Club as the membership manager. The groom is a 2000 graduate of the College of Charleston. He is the owner of  DW Installations.

The couple honeymooned in Naples, Fla. and reside in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
