Wilson and Parrish marry Nov. 27 at Holy Cross
Emily Ellis Wilson and Justin Lee Parrish were joined in marriage Nov. 27, 2010 at The Church of the Holy Communion, Charleston, South Carolina.

The bride's father and the Rev. Conrad Brown officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Reverend and Mrs. Alan Marshall Wilson, of Mount Pleasant.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julien Theodore Melchers of Mount Pleasant and the late Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hayes Wilson of Atlanta.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Winthrop University in December 2009.

She has taught voice at East Cooper Arts Academy in Mount Pleasant and will be teaching voice in Rock Hill, along with developing the Academy for the Arts at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Wayne Parrish of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. William Lester Parrish and the late Mr. Lester Earl Boatright and Mrs. Lester Earl Boatright of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

He will be completing his BA degree in Music from Winthrop University while teaching at Woody's Music in Rock Hill and at The Playroom Academy of Music in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Reverend Alan Marshall Wilson. She wore a strapless gown of ivory silk taffeta, with sweetheart neckline of embellished lace with Swarovski crystals and pearls, a flare-style chapel train and cathedral-length veil.

The bride's Matrons of Honor were her sisters, Elizabeth Wilson Riggs of Roanoke, Va., Jessica Wilson Miglarese of Siloam Springs, Ark. and Anna-Catharine Wilson Brooks of Charleston.

The bridesmaids were cousins of the bride, Rebecca Melchers Taylor, Laura Elisabeth Melchers, both of Charleston, and Miriam Edwards Wingate, of Columbia, and Kristen Guilds Chandler and Ashley Ward Muller, both of Charleston.

Each of the bride's attendants wore earrings fashioned from jewelry belonging to the bride's great-grandmother.

Flower girls were the bride's nieces Ada Frances Riggs, Catharine Isabella Miglarese and Olivia Lucas Brooks. Greeters were nephews of the bride, John Marshall Miglarese, William Tobias Brooks and Samuel Machen Riggs.

The bride's processional was "Trumpet Voluntary," with trumpet accompaniment by her uncle, Dr. Ted Melchers.

Father of the groom served as Best Man.

The groomsmen were Addison Hancock of Roanoke, Virginia, Robbie Borchik of Morrisville, N.C., Steve Yevchek of Charlotte, N.C. and Jason Herring, Kyle Wentz and Jonathan Ferguson, all of Rock Hill, S.C.

The reception was held in the church Parish Hall and garden, where the wedding cake was displayed and decorated with vintage brooches belonging to the bride's great-grandmother.

The couple honeymooned in Florida and will reside in Rock Hill, S.C.
