Aqueduct Wetting Agent by Fertilome saved many dollars in water bills as well as fungicide applications. The customers I talked to seemed to be more aware of their watering habits and more willing to manage their irrigation clocks. Sometimes they would turn the clock off completely! They would also adjust the watering time and the amount of days in a week the irrigation system watered. By using less water the customers noticed less fungus problems as well. Less water + Less fungus = Dollars saved!!

09-00-00 Corn Gluten by Bradfield Organics developed a huge following in 2009. The color the fertilizer gave the grass was outstanding and very long lasting. When considering the slow release and the safety of this organic fertilizer, the price was very reasonable. Corn Gluten also has some preemergent qualities as a bonus.

Mole Patrol by RCO continues to control moles in a very cost effective manor. New products on the market work well, but for the price, none beat Mole Patrol. After all, a dead mole is a dead mole. If you would rather not kill the mole, Holy Moley (granular) and Mole Repellent (liquid) do a good job of repelling the mole from an area.

Back to Nature products continued to perform at a high level in 2009. Cotton Burr Compost, Flower Bed Amendment, and Nature's Blend have a very strong following in this area because of the results these products produce on turf, vegetable gardens, flower beds, and around trees and shrubs.
